Program Details

HOW THE SEASON WORKS

Practice Schedule

Practice runs Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Sessions are held at Grey Rock Golf Club and Jimmy Clay Golf Course in Austin.

Tournament Days

Tournaments are held Monday through Thursday during school hours, with an 8:00 AM tee time. Players provide their own transportation. A signed private transportation form is required.

Who Competes

Each team carries up to 25 players (boys) or 15 players (girls), but only the top 10 compete in UIL-sanctioned tournaments. Both Varsity and JV teams compete at their respective levels.

Practice Venues

WHERE WE TRAIN

The Bowie Golf Team trains at two of Austin's finest public golf facilities, giving student-athletes access to practice conditions that mirror real tournament play.

Grey Rock Golf Club
Primary training venue. Junior Golf Membership required. Full 18-hole course with practice facilities.
Jimmy Clay Golf Course
Free for team members. Range balls and tournament fees are covered. Fall tryout venue. Driving range and full course.
